GEO DOME PLATFORM
To ensure proper water drainage and prevent water from seeping under the cover inside the dome, we highly recommend constructing dome platforms in a circular or pentadecagon shape that closely matches the base shape and size of the geodesic dome. By adopting this design, any rainwater or meltwater will naturally run off the cover and onto the ground, keeping the interior of the dome dry and protected. Building a platform that aligns with the dome’s geometry is an important consideration to maintain the integrity and functionality of the structure.
