DOME PACKAGE INCLUDES:
- Frame: Galvanized steel frame with a powder-coated white finish.
- Cover: Available in a variety of colors.
- 15 heavy-duty anchor plates: Included to securely fasten the tent to concrete or wooden surfaces. Made of galvanized steel with a powder-coated white finish.
- 1 solid door frame: Designed to accommodate a 36×80″ pre-hung exterior door. Constructed from galvanized steel with a powder-coated white finish.
- 1 PVC transparent panoramic window: Located at the regular height of 2 V levels from the base.
- 1 round transparent PVC window: Provides additional natural light.
- 2 mesh screen vents: Ensures proper ventilation inside the dome.
- Documentation: Includes an installation manual, assembly diagram, list of parts (e-copies), and an engineering report with calculated snow and wind loads (e-copy).
GEO DOME PLATFORM
To ensure proper water drainage and prevent water from seeping under the cover inside the dome, we highly recommend constructing dome platforms in a circular or pentadecagon shape that closely matches the base shape and size of the geodesic dome. By adopting this design, any rainwater or meltwater will naturally run off the cover and onto the ground, keeping the interior of the dome dry and protected. Building a platform that aligns with the dome’s geometry is an important consideration to maintain the integrity and functionality of the structure.
